Sample preparation the easy way
Efficient capillary filling
Grind your samples using the mortar and pestle included in each melting point accessory box – available with USP reference substances and standard reference substances – and prepare up to six melting point samples simultaneously using the capillary tool.
Secure cup filling
Repeatable sample preparation is the basis for accurate, comparable results. Samples for dropping point and softening point are first melted, and can then be poured into standard-compliant cups. Thanks to the support disk, outside surface contamination is avoided and removal of excess sample is made easier and more repeatable.
